The 25th full-length film in the Detective Conan anime series, Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, which will have a time-limited release in Japan from October 28 to November 7, comes in third. On October 28, 15 cinemas in Japan opened the theatrical run of Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise, the first original anime feature film produced by Gainax and Bandai. It didn’t make the top 1 It didn’t place in the top 10 at the box office overall due to the limited number of theatres, but it did place first in Kogyo Tsushinsha’s weekend mini-theater ranking.
Premise
The world’s most adored vocalist is Uta. Uta, whose voice has been referred to as “otherworldly” and who is known for hiding her name when performing, will finally make her identify known to the public at a live event. The voice that the entire world has been waiting for is ready to echo as the theatre fills with all different types of Uta fans—excited pirates, the Navy watching intently, and the Straw Hats lead by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her thunderous performance. When Luffy discloses that she is his childhood friend and the “daughter” of Red-Haired Shanks, the chapter opens with a startling revelation.
Production
One Piece: Defeat The Pirate Ganzak!, a 1998 OVA directed by Goro Taniguchi and created by Production I.G. Released prior to the airing of the anime series, it was the first animated version of the One Piece manga and only had a small number of screenings in Japanese theatres. Taniguchi was “the first person to ever animate Luffy,” according to Oda. Over the course of more than two years, Oda, Taniguchi, and Tsutomu Kuroiwa had discussions over the movie’s script. Marketing
For the film’s promotion, Toei Animation and Ado will release video songs on YouTube featuring Yasutaka Nakata, Mrs. Green Apple, Vaundy, Fake Type, Hiroyuki Sawano, Yuta Orisaka, and Motohiro Hata in each of the seven songs. These songs will also be used as the singing voice for the character Uta.
