One Piece Film Red Retains No._? Position at Japan’s Box Office After 13 Weekends


The monarch is now seated on his throne. One Piece Film Red reclaimed the No. 1 spot from last weekend’s third place with an amazing 340 million yen (2.29 million USD), a 240 percent increase over last weekend, on 224,000 admissions in its 13th weekend. One of the reasons for this revival may be that the opening seven and a half minutes of the movie were shown on the Friday night TV broadcast of the movie ONE PIECE FILM Z from 2012.

The combined domestic box office receipts for the 15th One Piece anime feature film have reached 17.7 billion yen (114.3 million USD) on 12.79 million viewings.

The 25th full-length film in the Detective Conan anime series, Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, which will have a time-limited release in Japan from October 28 to November 7, comes in third. On its first Saturday and Sunday, the movie had 82,000 admissions and earned 114 million yen (766,974 USD).

On October 28, 15 cinemas in Japan opened the theatrical run of Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise, the first original anime feature film produced by Gainax and Bandai. It didn’t make the top 1 It didn’t place in the top 10 at the box office overall due to the limited number of theatres, but it did place first in Kogyo Tsushinsha’s weekend mini-theater ranking.

Premise

The world’s most adored vocalist is Uta. Production

One Piece: Defeat The Pirate Ganzak!, a 1998 OVA directed by Goro Taniguchi and created by Production I.G. Released prior to the airing of the anime series, it was the first animated version of the One Piece manga and only had a small number of screenings in Japanese theatres. Music

The theme song for the movie, “New Genesis,” performed by Ado and created by Yasutaka Nakata, was composed by him. Marketing

For the film’s promotion, Toei Animation and Ado will release video songs on YouTube featuring Yasutaka Nakata, Mrs. Green Apple, Vaundy, Fake Type, Hiroyuki Sawano, Yuta Orisaka, and Motohiro Hata in each of the seven songs. These songs will also be used as the singing voice for the character Uta. There have been many handouts to the theatre audience since the movie’s theatrical debut in Japan, including a variety of manga and a databook by Eiichiro Oda that were printed in millions of copies and distributed over the course of most weekends. After the movie’s premiere in Japan, the three tie-in episodes of the One Piece anime were aired instead of the show’s regular episodes.
