1. Naane Varuvean
I shall come myself is the subtitle of the 2022 Indian Tamil horror thriller Naane Varuvean, which was written by Dhanush and directed by Selvaraghavan and stars both of them. After Kodi and Pattas, Dhanush makes an appearance in a dual role for the third time, and Naane Varuvean sees him reunited with Selvaraghavan after Mayakkam Enna. Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the soundtrack for the movie, while Om Prakash handled the cinematography and Bhuvan Srinivasan handled the editing.
On September 29, 2022, the movie was released in theatres to mixed reviews from critics and favourable ones from viewers. The movie eventually found success at the box office.

2. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu
The Scorched Forest Part I: The Kindling is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language gangster movie that was written by B. Jeyamohan, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. A. R. Rahman composed the music for the movie, which also has Silambarasan, Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Neeraj Madhav, and Siddique in supporting parts.
August 2021 marked the start of principal photography, which ran until April 2022. The movie opened in theatres on September 15, 2022, to favourable reviews from reviewers and viewers, and it quickly became a financial success.  A follow-up is being created.

Varadha (Arulnithi), a sub-inspector candidate, is given the option of selecting an unresolved case as his training assignment. The story centres on a honeymoon couple who were robbed and brutally killed in a hillside resort 16 years prior. He comes across several leads that bring him nearer to the culprits.
He works to solve the case’s riddle with the aid of another sub-inspector named Pavithra (Pavithra Marimuthu). Interestingly, his automobile disappears one night, and concurrently, we learn about the lives of several others who ride the final bus from Ooty to Coimbatore.

4. Dejavu (2022 film)
Subramani, a writer of novels, complains to the police while highly inebriated that he has been receiving harassing calls from the fictional characters he has created in his books, and he requests police protection. Police make fun of his claim and dismiss him. Subramani resumes writing after returning home. Police show up at his residence the following day to question him about a call they received from a lady named Pooja who called the control room to report being kidnapped. Before turning off her phone, the woman briefly disclosed the writer’s name and location. When Subramani is contacted by the police, they are startled to learn that he wrote about Pooja. They beat him while they question him about this, but his neighbours intervene.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is the writer and director of the action thriller Vikram, which will be released in 2022 in the Indian Tamil language through Raaj Kamal Films International.  Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, and Kamal Haasan all appear in the movie.  Suriya makes a brief cameo as Rolex while Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, and Chemban Vinod Jose play supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack and score for the movie. Girish Gangadharan handled the photography, and Philomin Raj handled the editing. The movie is the follow-up in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).  The plot centres on a black-ops team lead by Agent Vikram, who seeks to bring down the Vetti Vagaiyara drug syndicate gang, which is led by Sandhanam and which wants the missing drugs delivered to its boss Rolex.
